Space Shuttle Sleep
Yesterday I slept so longly
and so deeply I felt I could've
woken in another galaxy.
I kept my eyes shut a while
when I woke up; I listened
for alien dangers.
All I heard was a pug
my roommate keeps; alien
in her own right.
