To see a mirror
On the set of a long play, say
With actors knifing one another
And the dialogue fast,
To note said mirror,
And how it reflected said
Blades, flashes, red pellets bursting.
You’re a stage hand brought on late
Wondering ‘were the pellets real?’
‘what happened’ &
‘who’s that?’
