Frequency this weekeend will feature a poetry improvisation contest hosted by the folks of Painted Bride Quarterly. Come compete against your lessers for fabulous prizes and/or get wasted with the sexy "Girls of PBQ." I heard that there was going to be twister involved. I'll pick up extra whipped cream.
Ben Murphy will open the show by playing his own peculiar brand of Canadian Folk Rock to fans young and old. He might even have a couple of CDs left overfrom his AFC Conference Championship/CD Release Party.
So: poetry, hedonism, Canadian folk rock. Another afternoon at the Four-Faced Liar starts SATURDAY at 2PM at 165 W. 4th St. + 6th Ave.
